Chain Forge (thechainforge.fun) is a skill-based crypto rewards game operated by AOB Tech. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what we collect and why.

We collect the following information when you register and play:

• Account information — your username, email address, and password (encrypted)
• Game data — your coin balance, chain scores, total winnings, and gameplay history
• Payment data — your crypto wallet address when you make deposits or withdrawals
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and device information for security purposes
• Communications — messages you send to us for support

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your game account
• Process crypto deposits and withdrawals via NOWPayments
• Maintain your coin balance and game progress
• Display your username on the leaderboard
• Detect and prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations including AML and KYC requirements
• Send important account and security notifications

All crypto payment processing is handled by NOWPayments. When you make a deposit, your payment details are processed directly by NOWPayments and subject to their privacy policy at nowpayments.io.

We store your wallet address in association with your account to process withdrawals. We do not store private keys or have access to your personal crypto wallets.

Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider (EU servers)
• NOWPayments — for processing crypto transactions
• Netlify — for hosting the game platform
• Law enforcement — when required by law or to prevent fraud

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

Chain Forge uses minimal cookies and local storage only to:

• Keep you logged in during your session
• Remember your game preferences

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that monitor your behaviour across other websites.

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except transaction records which are retained for 5 years as required by law.

We protect your data using industry-standard encryption, Row Level Security on our database, and secure HTTPS connections. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

Chain Forge is strictly for users aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover an account belongs to a minor, it will be immediately suspended and data deleted.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of Chain Forge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
